Jesus demonstrated the importance of small groups by forming one Himself with His disciples, who eventually trained others to do likewise. Small groups at Savoy UMC develop meaningful and vital relationships with one another to become living examples of the “body of Christ”. Small groups help members CONNECT, GROW and SERVE.
On a regular basis, many church family members meet together in small groups to develop closer and more meaningful relationships with others and with God.
In small groups we learn how to grow in grace and love by asking questions about Scripture and providing support and encouragement to one another during our spiritual journeys.
We believe we are called to reach out to our church family, our community, and the world with the love of Christ, demonstrating God’s love for others through compassion and acts of service in our neighborhoods, community and beyond.
