We want every child at SUMC to know these three things:
I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
We invite students to remain with their families as worship begin. Shortly before the mid-way point of the service, children are invited to join either:
Crossroads for grades K through 3
Children will come into an interactive experience incorporating worship, hands-on Bible lessons, prayer and lots of active fun! Crossroads is a place where we build the foundational truths from scripture that serve as a springboard to deepen faith.
Trailblazers for grades 4 through 6
Preteens will experience a discussion based environment where they are able to dig deep into scripture and find life-application. This is a safe place to ask questions, hear stories and learn how to integrate scripture into our everyday lives.
Child’s Information Sheet – if this will be your first time with us, you can print out our short and simple Children’s Info Page to fill out bring with you on Sunday morning. In addition to Sunday mornings, we offer children’s programming during Midweek Connection, while adults are meeting in small groups. Click here to find more information.
Each volunteer goes through our Safe Sanctuary application process to assure children learn in safe environments. For more information about our children’s programming, contact Rebeccah Anderson (Children’s Pastor) at [email protected].
